Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has revealed that he will like to sign one more midfielder before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
The Premier League champions are looking to push on from a record-breaking campaign last season as they prepare to bolster their squad ahead of the coming season.
Guardiola believes his side don’t have two specific players to substitute midfielder, Fernandinho in City’s midfield.
The Spaniard, however, wants specialist defensive midfield option that could assist in the midfield.
“We would like to find maybe one more because we don’t have two specific players to substitute Fernandinho,” Guardiola said after his side’s 2-0 win over Chelsea in the Community Shield.
Meanwhile, Sergio Aguero netted in each half, as Manchester City defeated Chelsea 2-0 in the Community Shield game on Sunday at the Wembley Stadium.
